The drainage in Embakasi Village was extremely polluted on Saturday evening.
A source who reached out to us revealed that if it had overflowed into the houses, a pandemic would surely have been experienced there.
The area at highest risk is the Embakasi Level 3 Dispensary which is located near children who love playing in the water.
According to residents, there seems to be a plant (probably near the Kentainers – water tanks, kentank, tanks, water storage factory) that spills its industrial waste into the drainage in the evenings.
Last evening, they might have taken advantage of the storm waters.
This is an epidemic waiting to happen.
