The Kenya Union of Post Primary Teachers (KUPPET) Narok Branch have strongly opposed Narok County Commissioner George Natembeya’s order for all school girls to undergo FGM tests.
Speaking to members of the press, the union’s head said that Natembeya’s order was meaningless and a waste of time.
He also expressed his worry that after testing school girls, their wives would be next on the list, warning Natembeya that if he were to cross that line, then a beating would await him.
