A clip from CCTV footage that has been doing rounds on social media has exposed the new daring risks that car thieves are willing to take in their pursuit for quick cash.
In the footage that originated from Nigeria, a young man is seen suspiciously passing by a parked car and drops a middle-sized box just next to it.
After walking past to presumably confirm the coast is clear, the man then returns to the scene, lies down under the car’s hood for a few seconds then he rises up and opens the bonnet.
He proceeds to take out the battery and then slowly slides it into the box he dropped earlier then walks away like nothing has happened.
