Form one of USAID’s facts sheets.
USAID/Kenya supports an integrated service delivery model to improve the health of Kenyans across the country. The AIDS, Population and Health Integrated Assistance Program, also known as APHIAPlus, combines family planning, maternal/child health, malaria, nutrition, tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment services to provide an integrated, high-quality, equitable approach to sustainable services at the national, county, and community levels. Integrating these activities through one
program provides more effective communication and coordination with county health administrators. Seamless services and technical support at the local level ensure health workers address the unique needs of each geographic area across the country.
However in Kwale County, it seems like the money they are given to treat HIV positive clients is so sweet as to warrant forcing workers to ‘get HIV positive patients’
Is is possible that some people in Kwale County have been ‘forcefully and cunningly’ put on ARVs yet they don’t have HIV.
Ministry of Health and USAID should investigate this

Threats and abuses from Afya Pwani
Good evening Nyakundi,
I’m one of your strongest followers.
I’m at pains to putting down my grievances and on behalf of my colleagues on how HTS PROVIDERS from Kwale county are being forced to get HIV positive clients; failure to which one is threatened like “we are sacking you” or you are not doing any work! All these beside poor pay of Kshs. 2300.
Counsellors / HTS PROVIDERS are so frightened and demoralized that they (we) lost hope in life.
Please expose this and save us please!
A frustrated worker
Kwale.
Thanks alot in advance
