Kenya’s second president Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi is dead at 95 years.
President Uhuru Kenyatta issued a presidential proclamation announcing the passing on of retired President.
Mr. Moi died of old age related complications at the Nairobi Hospital where he was on life support.
The former president had been a guest of the hospital since late last year.
On 12th December 2019, it was reported that his condition worsened after he was removed from life support. Moi has been in the ICU at the Nairobi Hospital since November 2019.
