We cannot forget the verbal outburst of Millie Odhiambo in support of Raila Odinga and directed at President Uhuru Kenyatta, who recently refurbished old train wagons and sent his inferior propaganda team to try and create generic excitement about SGR, which we know was inflated and incomparable to Ethiopia’s SGR.
And while the alcoholic and chain-smoking Uhuru deserves every form of criticism under the sun due to his incompetence, lies, contempt for middle-class, and constantly insulting our collective intelligence, the criticism must be real and intellectual.
We warned Raila Odinga to be wary of people in his camp who are renowned for verbal diarrhoea, ostracising communities against his candidature. But he keeps repeating the same mistakes, whilst expecting different results.
We can tell from social media commentary that Kikuyu’s are fed up with Uhuru. We can feel their frustrations of being dominated by one family led by Mama Ngina, the matriarch accused of land grabbing and poaching.
It looks like the first time in history that Raila is poised to get a sizeable chunk of votes from the Central region. But the more we have overbearing sycophants spewing sentiment meant to stir up emotions, the more Raila will compromise his chances of being President.
Can’t opposition speak calmly to Kikuyu’s? Must you always accuse them of crimes committed by their elites? Can’t you campaign logically on issues affecting them, issues which Uhuru lied about resolving? Like the land issue and title-deeds? Like coffee? Like Brookside’s recent attempt to buy Githunguri Farmer’s Dairy and give them a raw deal? Is it so hard?
Whenever tribal sentiment from the CORD coalition springs up, the only beneficiary according to analysts, is Uhuru, because they seem to bring Kikuyu’s together. This particular action fuels the speculation that indeed, there is money from Jubilee being paid to CORD individuals, to fuel such ethnic hate, because the ultimate beneficiary is Uhuru.
There is also another dumb Luo whom we have attached in this video clip, claiming that he will mobilise youths to fight against Uhuru’s army of supporters. You can clearly see from this YouTube video that while the gesture is being framed as an attempt to endear himself to Raila, the truth is that he has been paid by Jubilee to antagonise Kikuyu’s into voting.
It’s evident that this sudden surge of hateful commentary as opposed to intellectual criticism, is not a coincidence. Millie Odhiambo and this dumb Luo in the video, are definitely on the payroll of Jubilee, to engage in a reverse-psychology tactic, meant to stoke ethnic sentiment meant to brainwash Kikuyu’s into voting out of fear of Raila.
Its high time Raila and the opposition reach out to Kikuyu’s using facts and logic. We won’t accept him losing elections due to his inherent stupidity of ostracising an entire community, who are currently fed up with their so-called “Muthamaki”. These sloppy errors are costly. One would expect that being a perennial loser of elections, Raila would have learnt a thing or two. Not so it seems.
