Khalaba Hospital Bungoma Sues Blogger For Exposing Rot

Scholastica Adhiambo in happier times. This is the woman Khalaba Hospital in Bungoma County Killed.

Khalaba hospital in Bungoma has sent a demand letter to blogger Simiyu Wakajuaness for his expose of mishandling of a caesarean section procedure at the hospital that led to death of a 33 year old Scholastica Odhiambo.

The owner of the hospital, a Dr. Omieri, who had carried the C-Section operation on Scholastica Adhiambo , pronounced her dead.

It is reported that Kevin Omondi, a relative (Brother) to the deceased woman tried to seek answers from the hospital, on why they had conducted the surgical operation on their patient without authorization, but the management of the hospital called security guards who  eject him.

The management of the hospital has never answered the question as to why who authorised the C-Section and why.

Is Khalaba Hospital in Bungoma engaging in organ trafficking? How much are they paid to harvest organs from infants and dead people?

This is a case that should not be let to rest so easily, even as police say, they’ve already recorded statements.

Rogue Bungoma Doctors

In March 2018, a Bungoma woman Josephine Majani was awarded Kshs. 2.5 million by the High Court, after she sued Bungoma County Referral Hospital for abuse while she was delivering.

Ms. Majani has been subjected to physical and verbal abuses by the nurses in the county hospital and made to deliver her baby on the hospital floor.

Mrs Majani said nurses had slapped and verbally abused her in 2013 and left her to deliver her baby in full view of the public.

Her ordeal was secretly captured on camera by a hospital intern.

High court judge Abida Aroni said the mother’s rights to health and dignity had been infringed at Bungoma county hospital.

What did the blogger do to warrant such a demand letter?

Has it not been reported that the rights of Scholastica Adhiambo was violated?, i.e. no one took the time to ask the family for permission to operate on their kin. Worse still, when the kin asked these questions, he was mishandled by the security guards on orders from the management.

Why didn’t the Khalaba hospital in Bungoma not have or give records of Scholastica Adhiambo?

The mistreatment of Kevin and her deceased sister’s body is shameful and Khalaba hospital should instead issue an apology and not a demand letter.

Blogger Wakajuaness is an innocent reporter.

Have the hospital also sent a demand letter to Standard newspaper?

Most of the things the demand letter states that Wakajuaness wrote are also contained in the Standard Newspaper article by Journalist Nathan Ochunge.
