When the Hashtag #KideroFailedNairobi started Trending, Many people joined the conversation and started giving their Views . This is after pictures of uncollected heaps of garbage started doing the rounds online .
This was a small matter if you ask any social media Guru but Kidero’s communication team messed up when they joined the bandwagon and started started denying everything then shifted the blame to political rivals and incompetent garbage collection companies that are sabotaging Kidero’s Good Job
That Kidero has done something in Nairobi is palpable but you know we live in a society where people will never appreciate . I have tried to understand why County Director of Public Communications, Nairobi City County Beryl Okundi shared Pictures we saw two months ago claiming that a cleaning exercise had commenced .
The Clueless Communication team then went ahead attacking those demanding for better services….

So what should have been done ? By the way Nairobians must know that cleanliness begins with me and you . Yes, the county is supposed to ensure that out town is clean but that responsibility begins with you lest we are bloody hypocrites .
Kidero’s Communication team should have used the images to launch a campaign like #NairobiansFailedNairobi . Use the images to discourage littering and promise to deal harshly with those found littering aimlessly . But blaming Rivals and the garbage collection companies was centuries behind times
