Speculation had arisen suggesting a potential move to Ferrari in 2024, but both Hamilton and Mercedes dismissed these rumors in the previous month.
Instead, Hamilton intends to negotiate a fresh agreement with Wolff, indicating his optimism by stating, “I haven’t signed anything yet, but I think we are meeting with Toto tomorrow [Monday] so hopefully we can get something done.”
While the details of the meeting were not explicitly revealed, Hamilton clarified that it was merely one of several discussions they have been having.
Despite the ongoing deliberations, Hamilton emphasized that his performance on the track remains unaffected.
However, he acknowledged that the status of his future with Mercedes is constantly on his mind.
Once a new contract is finalized, Hamilton believes he will be able to focus more intently on the future.

Team principal Toto Wolff shared that all that is required is some time for a casual conversation over a cup of coffee, estimating that it would take around 30 minutes.
