Lewis Hamilton’s Contract with Mercedes is a hot topic after his Spanish GP race yesterday.
Lewis Hamilton’s tenure with Mercedes is set to conclude at the end of 2023, as his contract approaches its expiration.
Having been associated with the Silver Arrows since 2013, the renowned Formula 1 driver is now engaged in discussions with team principal Toto Wolff regarding the possibility of extending his presence in the sport.

Following his second-place finish at the Spanish Grand Prix, Hamilton revealed that he will be meeting with Wolff to deliberate on his future at Mercedes.
Speculation had arisen suggesting a potential move to Ferrari in 2024, but both Hamilton and Mercedes dismissed these rumors in the previous month.
Instead, Hamilton intends to negotiate a fresh agreement with Wolff, indicating his optimism by stating, “I haven’t signed anything yet, but I think we are meeting with Toto tomorrow [Monday] so hopefully we can get something done.”
While the details of the meeting were not explicitly revealed, Hamilton clarified that it was merely one of several discussions they have been having.
Despite the ongoing deliberations, Hamilton emphasized that his performance on the track remains unaffected.
However, he acknowledged that the status of his future with Mercedes is constantly on his mind.
Once a new contract is finalized, Hamilton believes he will be able to focus more intently on the future.
He expressed his dedication to the team, highlighting their unwavering determination and hunger for success.
The significance of the recent podium finish at the Spanish Grand Prix was not lost on Hamilton, as it showcased the enthusiasm and joy among the team members who have devoted considerable time and effort to their endeavors.
Wolff Negotiations talk
Since his arrival at Mercedes in 2013, Hamilton has achieved remarkable success, securing six out of his seven world titles with the team.
Alongside his championship triumphs, he has amassed a record-breaking tally of 103 pole positions and 103 victories, solidifying his status as the most accomplished driver in Formula 1 history.
Despite his numerous accomplishments, Hamilton has made it clear that he has no intentions of stepping away from the sport just yet.

Hamilton expressed contentment with his current state of affairs, emphasizing that he has found a sense of equilibrium in his life, allowing him to channel his focus more effectively.
