In a shocking revelation, a former employee at Club Hypnotica in Mombasa has come forward to expose the club owner’s unfair treatment towards his staff.
The former employee, who wishes to remain anonymous, claims that she was unjustly sacked alongside her colleagues without any prior notice or legitimate reason.
The sudden dismissal affected all waiters and waitresses at the club.
According to the source, the dismissal was communicated via a text message sent to the staff WhatsApp Group on the evening of Monday, February 27, 2023.
The message simply instructed them not to report to work the following day.
The club owner did not provide any explanation for the sudden and unexpected termination of their employment.
“I am disappointed and confused. We were not given any tangible reason for our dismissal, and we had not committed any work-related offence,” the source said.
The former employee expressed her disappointment at the lack of justice and fairness in the workplace.
“Is it fair to be sacked without notice and without having committed any mistake?” she questioned.
