Naivas, arguably the country’s largest retail chain, is facing a storm of criticism from customers who claim the supermarket is not reversing transactions made but not reflected on their systems.
A customer, who reached to this blog on Wednesday, claims to have paid for goods at the Naivas Development House outlet, only for the supermarket to inform her that their systems were down and the money did not reflect on their side.
The supermarket promised to reverse the transaction within 72 hours, but despite following up with customer care, the customer is yet to receive her money.
The situation appears to be a widespread issue, with Safaricom also acknowledging that many Naivas customers are facing the same problem.
