Nairobi National Park is now becoming a face of environmental pollution in Kenya thanks to the sleepy heads at NEMA.
Nairobi National Park was established in 1946 making it Kenya’s oldest park reportedly stinking like ‘hell’.
While cartels have grabbed and privatised most of the parks, CS Balala using outdated methods and people with questionable characters to market Kenya to International tourists, Nairobi National Park’s 75 years of existence is rotting aways.
“I have visited the park several times, and every time, I stop at the Impala Picnic Site to marvel at the beauty and serenity of the open plains below. But the smells are awful,” one user shared online.
Where is NEMA which brags to be the country’s Environment management authority?
“My tour to the park reminds me of that stink from the aftermath of Big game hunters. It’s like standing weeks later on the playing ground of Theodore Roosevelt and Prince Edward of Wales. People who boasted of their wild animal slaughtering prowess,” another used shared on Twitter.

Yesterday, Friends of Nairobi National Park wrote to NEMA about the unfortunate deplorable state, river and environmental pollution at the oldest park in the country.
