Social media user Damaris Mumbi Ndung’u (pictured) has been unmasked online for refusing to pay a developer that made her two websites as per the documents and chats the editor of this site has perused.
In a Twitter spat, Damaris Mumbi Ndung’u tweeted that she had won an award, inviting a quoted tweet from the developer who congratulated her for winning the award then asked her to pay for the services he had offered her.
In a reply, Mumbi promised to Mpesa the balance, something she has not done by the time this article was being done.

According to the developer, he has been asking for his money for almost two years all to no avail. He texted, called, tried mediation but Mumbi has never been willing to pay.
Responding to the developer’s allegations, Damaris Mumbi Ndungu told her followers that she was being cyberbullied and had sought the help of a lawyer on the matter, a statement that angered social media users who urged her not to spend money on lawyers but pay the developer who deserves it since she liked his work, as per the chats shared online.
Mumbi Ndung’u is the founder of Ibua Africa Impact fund which is described as a show aimed at Re-inventing African communities through Inspirational African stories. It involves mobilizing funds from donors and helping young people invest. She describes Ibua Impact Fund is a social finance vehicle supporting micro-businesses with the potential for high impact and a commitment to delivering social and financial returns Through providing resources including – financial, skill, capacity building, market access & invoice factoring). A description which she is clearly far off from.
Damaris Mumbi Ndung’u used to work for Ginadin Kariuki who might have taught her the art of corporate fraud.
According to social media users, Mumbi portrays a lavish lifestyle on Instagram, where she takes photos of who and who in the Kenyan society in order to dupe investors into her impact fund. According to a source that we spoke to, she has managed to bring in even her fellow daystar journalists into her con-game by making them invite her to Githeri Media to advance her activities.
Her social media sentiments have angered Kenyans on social media and the demands that she clears the debt are streaming in especially from Buyer Beware, where she was exposed this morning.
Kenya has been infested with many actors posing as genuine crusaders especially in the corporate world.
This is not the first time media is bringing cons to the limelight. The popular case of Heshan de Silva shocked Kenyans and social media users. Heshan de Silva became famous after he was featured on K24’s Young Rich program that was suspended after many complaints.

Just pay my sister. Some of these young kids require a hand-up, not a hand-out.

These are people who assume their hustle is more important that other people's hustles. So they are busy minding theirs and think they are doing justice to yours. When the Business flops they will be the first to say how youths are lazy
