Residents Expose Terrible Living Conditions at Kings Serenity Estate Ongata Rongai

A source has come forward with alarming revelations about Kings Serenity Estate in Ongata Rongai, part of the much-touted affordable housing projects.
Since the beginning of the year, residents have been grappling with a dire water crisis that shows no signs of abating.
Despite numerous meetings with developers and management, pleas for assistance have fallen on deaf ears, leaving residents to resort to buying water from vendors at exorbitant prices—100 bob for a mere 30-liter container.
And with long queues adding insult to injury, basic hygiene becomes a luxury, forcing residents to bathe and flush toilets with water from dispensers meant for drinking.
But the water crisis is just the tip of the iceberg.
Security concerns loom large over the estate, with reports of unknown individuals brazenly entering homes, locking residents inside and ransacking their belongings without so much as an explanation.
When confronted, security personnel offer no satisfactory answers.
“Hey Cyprian,
I want to bring to your attention the situation at Kings Serenity Estate in Ongata Rongai, which is part of the affordable housing projects.
Since the beginning of the year, we haven’t had any water supply. Despite numerous meetings with the developers and management, all the pleas from residents and homeowners have fallen on deaf ears.
We’ve resorted to buying water from vendors at 100 bob for a 30-liter jerrican, and even then, there’s a long queue.
This leaves us with stinking toilets and the only option for bathing is using water from dispensers before heading to work.
Security is another major concern.
There have been incidents where unknown individuals break into houses, lock up the occupants, ransack the house and leave without identifying themselves.
When questioned, the security personnel have no answers.
These are just some of the issues we’re facing and I know my neighbors will echo the same sentiments.
Please, tell Kenyans NOT TO BUY OR STAY at any Kings Developers houses.
Despite being marketed as affordable, once you commit, they don’t care about addressing issues.
They leave you to deal with them on your own.
Please post this to help a fellow Kenyan and to ensure that those of us already here get our rights met.”
