There was outrage on social media after Qatari Sociologist Abad Al-Aziz Al-Khazraj Al-Ansari posted a video demonstrating the “correct” wife-beating in Islam.
In the video, Al-Aziz says that an Islam man is allowed to give his wife a “disciplinary beating” that is administered “out of love”.
He goes on to add that the beating should be “light” and “must make the wife feel her femininity and her husband’s masculinity”.
