An Amber Alert for a missing baby in Kentucky has been canceled, The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children stated
The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children has announced the cancellation of the Amber Alert for a missing baby in Kentucky. The seven-month-old infant named Jocelyn Lair, who was believed to be in great danger, has been found and is now in possession of the Department for Community-Based Services.
Authorities initiated the Amber Alert for the baby from Kentucky due to concerns for her safety. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children had reported that the child was suspected to be with her mother.

Jocelyn Lair, who disappeared on Friday near the Tennessee state border in Monticello, Kentucky, was the subject of a search by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, who had requested the public’s help in locating her.
Described by the police as weighing 18 pounds, the baby has brown hair and hazel eyes. At the time she went missing, she was only wearing a diaper, as stated by law enforcement.
According to the authorities, Jocelyn was last seen with her mother Shelley Lair in a red 2010 Ford Focus. The vehicle is notable for having gray/green spray paint on the passenger side and is registered with the Kentucky license plate BWV609.
Officials expressed concerns about the child’s well-being, citing her mother’s history of drug use and previous incidents involving the child’s exposure and overdose. The Department for Community-Based Services had obtained an emergency custody order for the child.
