Aidan Maese-Czeropski, a 24-year-old legislative aide employed by the U.S. Senate, has been terminated from his position following accusations of filming explicit content in a Judiciary Committee hearing room.
Senator Ben Cardin (D-Maryland) confirmed the dismissal, stating, “Aidan Maese-Czeropski is no longer employed by the U.S. Senate.
We will have no further comment on this personnel matter.”

The incident surfaced when Maese-Czeropski was accused of sharing an explicit video of himself engaging in sexual activity with another man on a public X account.
The approximately eight-second video allegedly took place in the same room where Supreme Court nominees are interviewed and where former FBI Director James Comey testified about alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
The Spectator initially broke the story, and The Daily Caller later published a graphic video of the explicit act.
The United States Capitol Police have launched an investigation into potential criminal violations associated with the online circulation of the video.
Maese-Czeropski’s face was reportedly clearly visible in the explicit content.
The former Senate staffer had previously gained attention for his association with President Joe Biden, appearing in an ad and receiving acknowledgment on his mother’s now-deleted X account.
In a November 2020 post, his mother thanked Biden for including her son in a message to supporters.
However, Maese-Czeropski has faced criticism for past statements, including a 2020 comment on the payment platform Venmo where he expressed a desire for President Biden to “spit in my mouth.”
In a statement on LinkedIn, he acknowledged “poor judgment” and mentioned facing attacks for his personal life in pursuit of a political agenda.
He stated, “I love my job and would never disrespect my workplace.”
Despite Maese-Czeropski’s assertion, his actions have drawn widespread public mockery, with some politicians, including disgraced Rep. George Santos, emphasizing the issue as filming explicit content within a U.S. government building rather than focusing on personal preferences.
