To say that we are in pain, doesn’t convey the trials the last 24 hours, has laid on our path. We ask that you pray with us and for us. My brother is in a battle for his life and needs the support of the legal system. We pray that justice is done.
From a friend…My classmate(Class A) and firm mate(A4) Oimbo Omondi brother to Paul Oimbo became the latest victim of a hit and run on Langata road. He is now in a coma fighting for his dear life.
When the accident occurred the police from Langata were on patrol and arrived at the scene when Omondi’s classmates were frantically trying to get an ambulance from AAR to take him to the hospital. Two police officers a lady and a man(Owino) alighted from the vehicle GKB 142R Langata Div OCPD. The officers called a red cross ambulance instead and Omondi was taken to KNH. Today 28th Nov the driver and owner of KAG 128V Mercedes Benz Amolo Neville Walusala was found and the car impounded at Langata police station. Family and friends went to the police station to follow up on the matter but were shocked about the turn of events.
The police at the station refused to let any of Omondi’s classmates to record a statement but Omondi should come from KNH to record a statement for them to take any action. Furthermore, they shouldn’t question if the Mercedes is not at the station after they do a mechanical test.
After family and friends spent the whole afternoon at the cop station the police decided to go do a scene visit at 6 pm on 28th for an accident that occurred at around 11.30pm on 27th, surely. What does this mean if the police were not compromised? We really need help and justice to deal with this matter. Omondi is still in a comma at KNH awaiting a bed in ICU because ICU is full

Amolo Neville Wasula should be held accountable! The Police response team at the scene should have conducted themselves better. The situation continues to be mishandled. We need justice for Omondi! #justiceforOmondi
We remain grateful for the impeccable care Omondi continues to receive at KNH. The staff and team of doctors have gone over and beyond the call of duty! We continue to work with this exemplary team, to find Omondi a bed in the ICU.
