Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi a.k.a Bobi Wine who is (or was, since he escaped) under house arrest for resisting the government of dictator Yoweri Museveni has released a new song.
The song titled AFANDE, is targeting to pass the message of revolution to the armed forces.
‘Dear friends , I used the past two days under house arrest to compose a song which I now dedicate to our men in uniform. While we are very grateful for the sacrifices they make to keep us and our country safe, we implore them to stop being used to violate the rights of the citizens’, Bobi Wine wrote on the YouTube.
The catchy phrase in the song is in Swahili, ‘sipigani nawe, nakupigania’, translated to ‘I am not fighting you, i am fighting for you’.
This are great words that will reverberate across East African dictatorships ans criminal aristocracies such as Rwanda, Kenya and Burundi.
