Who Is Alexee Trevizo?
In a remorseful statement, Trevizo expressed her apologies.
Immediately after being informed by a doctor that the deceased child had been found in the bathroom, Trevizo stated that the baby came out unexpectedly and she didn’t know what to do.
She recounted informing her mother, who then urged Trevizo to be honest. Trembling with tears, her mother responded.
Trevizo, visibly scared, mentioned that the baby was not crying, and her mother, overcome with anger, demanded to know what had happened.
The medical staff intervened and prevented her from interfering with the police investigation.
Earlier that day, Trevizo had arrived at the hospital complaining of back pain, having traveled approximately 80 miles from the New Mexico-Texas border.
Despite medical tests confirming her pregnancy, Trevizo denied ever engaging in sexual activity, as shown in the video footage where a doctor informs investigators about this.
After coaxing Trevizo to unlock the door, physicians discovered a significant amount of blood on the floor, indicating that she had locked herself in the hospital restroom for an extended period.
Initially, doctors were concerned that Trevizo may have attempted self-harm to terminate her pregnancy before one of the nurses discovered the deceased full-term baby in the trash.
The doctor confirmed that she had placed the baby in the trash can and covered it with another clean liner.
