She excelled in javelin, with a personal best of 43.90 meters, earning 742 points.
In the 800 meters, she won with 2:10.91, accumulating 951 points for a gold medal.

David Hall, Anna’s father, was a University of Michigan athlete, serving as a backup quarterback. His standout moment was during the 1983 Rose Bowl, where, as a junior with limited career pass attempts, he completed 13 of 24 passes for 155 yards and two touchdowns.
Beyond football, David excelled in basketball and track, setting the UM Decathlon record. He earned a BA in 1985 and pursued an MBA at the University of Texas at Austin.
David’s previous roles include vice president at Tucker Alan Inc and managing director at Navigant Consulting for four years.
As the father of four daughters, David has worked as a managing director at Alvarez and Marsal, a business consulting firm, for the past 15 years.
Ronette Hall, David’s spouse, holds an economics degree from Oakland University and previously served as an account manager at FHP Health Care.
