Manor played a pivotal role in helping the Denver Broncos reach their inaugural Super Bowl in 1977, although they were ultimately defeated by the Dallas Cowboys.
During that memorable season, Manor participated in 13 games, tallying four sacks in the regular season.
Additionally, he made a crucial fumble recovery during the AFC Championship victory against the Raiders.

Manor’s Best Season At Denver Broncos
In 1979, Brison Manor had his most productive season, starting all 16 games for the Broncos. During that season, he recorded 6.5 sacks and recovered a fumble.
Over the course of his career, Manor appeared in 113 games, starting 36 of them. He amassed a total of 23 sacks, with 22 of those sacks achieved during his time with the Broncos.
Before embarking on his NFL journey, Manor showcased his talents under the guidance of then-Arkansas Razorbacks defensive line coach and future Hall of Famer Jimmy Johnson.

Brison Manor’s journey began in Bridgeton, New Jersey, where he was born on August 10, 1952. He honed his skills playing football for the Bridgeton High Bulldogs.
Despite his talent, Manor didn’t receive any scholarship offers upon graduating in 1971.
Undeterred, he decided to attend Pratt Community College in Kansas, where his abilities caught the attention of scouts from the University of Arkansas.
Manor spent two years at Arkansas, where he played under the guidance of Jimmy Johnson, who would later become a Hall-of-Fame coach for the Dallas Cowboys.
His time at college was significant not only for his on-field performances but also because it coincided with a pivotal period in the southern United States as it emerged from segregation.
Manor and others like him played a role in breaking barriers during this time.
In the 1975 NFL Draft, Manor was selected by the New York Jets. However, he was released from the team before the start of the season.
Returning to Little Rock, he ventured into the business world and opened a car dealership. In 1976, he joined the Denver Broncos, although an injury initially delayed his NFL debut.
Once he recovered, Manor became an integral part of the renowned “Orange Crush” defense that propelled the Broncos to their first Super Bowl appearance in 1977.
