In a recently surfaced CCTV footage from Santon, Kasarani, Nairobi, two alleged robbers can be seen carrying out a car robbery.
The disturbing video, which gained significant attention on July 2, depicts a male driver stepping out of a Toyota Probox and preparing to park the vehicle near a house.

Upon returning to his car, the driver becomes aware of two individuals emerging from the darkness.
These assailants, dressed in black trousers and jackets, cause the driver to quickly retreat to ensure his own safety.
The two individuals believed to be criminals, approached the car and displayed what seemed to be firearms.

They demanded that another man inside the vehicle unlock it. Compliance ensued, leading the victim to step out and lie on the ground as instructed.
During this time, the assailants searched the car and took undisclosed valuable items. Subsequently, they departed, leaving the car with its doors ajar.
Once the victim confirmed the robbers’ departure, he swiftly got up from the ground and hurried to the nearby house seeking assistance.

In a related incident, a CCTV recording revealed the method employed by criminals as they unlawfully entered residences and absconded with electronic devices in Syokimau, located in Machakos County.
The footage captured the actions of two individuals equipped with weapons, as they forcefully gained access to an apartment during daylight hours on Friday, June 16.
The CCTV footage depicts the two individuals seizing a television and various belongings before loading them into a nearby parked vehicle.
The cameras also managed to capture the clear registration number of the robbers’ getaway car.
In a separate incident, the footage captures a lone armed robber forcibly entering a residence and absconding with a television.
The occurrence of these two incidents has sparked widespread concern and outrage regarding the escalating robbery cases in Syokimau.
The public is urging the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to initiate a thorough investigation and pursue a manhunt for the criminals captured on the CCTV footage.
