Conor McGregor’s attorney asserts that he will not be swayed by the recent sexual assault accusations made against him following his appearance at an NBA Finals game.
According to various media sources, McGregor was accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a men’s bathroom at the Kaseya Center in Miami on June 9.

The accuser’s attorney claimed that McGregor aggressively kissed her and attempted to engage her in non-consensual sexual acts.
In response, McGregor’s attorney has refuted the allegations, stating that they are false, and emphasized McGregor’s resolve to remain undeterred.
McGregor was present at the basketball game to promote a pain-relief spray and was involved in a pre-arranged halftime sketch where he punched the Miami Heat mascot, Burnie, as captured in social media videos.

However, according to the letter from Ariel Mitchell, McGregor’s accuser’s attorney, it is alleged that McGregor escalated his aggressive and outrageous behavior by violently sexually assaulting the woman after the NBA Finals game.
The letter also claimed that McGregor’s security withheld the woman’s purse as she tried to flee the scene and only returned it after she made multiple desperate pleas.
The woman reported the incident to law enforcement following the alleged assault, as stated in the letter.

On June 15, a spokesperson from the Miami Police Department confirmed that their Special Victims Unit is actively investigating a report filed on June 11.
As it is an ongoing investigation, no further details can be disclosed at this time, according to the spokesperson.
At present, Conor McGregor has not faced any criminal charges in relation to the allegations made against him.
However, the attorney representing his accuser has indicated the possibility of legal action in the future.
“We know a lengthy, public litigation would encourage other victims and witnesses to come forward,” Mitchell’s letter read. “This firm has been instructed to explore all reasonable settlement offers to resolve these claims before they escalate further.”
The UFC has informed media houses that they are aware of the recent allegations involving Conor McGregor and are actively collecting more information regarding the incident.
In a joint statement on social media on June 15, the Miami Heat and the Kaseya Center acknowledged the allegations and confirmed that they are conducting a comprehensive investigation.

They have decided to withhold further comments until the investigation concludes.
The NBA’s spokesperson, Mike Bass, released a statement on behalf of the organization, stating:
“We are aware of the allegations and are working with the team to gather more information.”
