The heartfelt announcement of the sudden passing of Dr. Dwight Sublett, a prominent pediatrician in Oklahoma, was made by Stillwater Pediatrics on Wednesday through a poignant social media post.

Dr. Sublett was an amazing Pediatrician who spent the majority of his life taking care of others.

Dr. Sublett’s untimely departure occurred on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, as a result of a sudden and massive heart attack, potentially stemming from an aneurysm.
Dr. Sublett played a vital role at Stillwater Pediatrics for an extended period.
He was a distinguished pediatrician in Blanchard, Oklahoma, and held affiliations with Stillwater Medical Center.
With over two decades of medical practice, he had earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.
The Oklahoma State Medical Association expressed their sorrow at Dr. Dwight Sublett’s passing, acknowledging his significant contributions as chair of OSMA’s Legislative Council and secretary of OMPAC.
Additionally, he had served as a former president of OKAAP and had been a steadfast advocate for the well-being of Oklahoma’s children.
His memory will be cherished, and his absence deeply felt by his family, colleagues, and the entire community.
