In the most recent scandal troubled giant telecommunication company Safaricom and Tuskys Supermarket are accused of stealing from its customers with Tusky’s redeemable Gift Pesa voucher.
In a complain sent to the Chief Editor of Cnyakundi.com a distressed client of Tuskys narrated how the two entities are extorting money from its customers.

So last week we were shopping for basic house commodities and we had giftpesa worth 5k.
We asked the customer care lady at Tmall whether we can redeem and she said yes. We shopped and before paying at the till we confirmed whether we could still use it and the cashier says yes.
After scanning everything we redeem the points and the system isn’t working, we had to wait for 30+ minutes before the manager comes to address our issue.
Paul (the manager) tells us the system has been down for two days and there’s nothing he can do about it and he was very rigid.
So we ask him if you knew about this why didn’t you communicate to your staff and he was like he will but he didn’t want to help.
Paul promised us he will follow on the reversal of our 5k giftpesa voucher, as we speak we didn’t leave with the shopping and our cash hadn’t been reversed as promised.
I passed by there yesterday (Tuesday 5th November) and Paul says it’s reversed but there’s nothing on my end yet I even have the screenshots of the message of redeeming the points and it not being reversed
Basically we went on a loss. No shopping no money.
