Revealed: Gangsta Boo’s Cause of Death

What was Gangsta Boo’s Cause of Death ?

Following the tragic news of Gangsta Boo’s passing on New Year’s Day, an autopsy report has revealed that the Memphis rapper died from an accidental overdose.

The 43-year-old Three 6 Mafia star had fentanyl, cocaine, and alcohol in her system at the time of her death.

Gangsta Boo, whose real name was Lola Chantrelle Mitchell, was found unconscious at her mother’s home, where she later passed away.

In the wake of her death, her mother expressed gratitude for the support from fans and requested privacy as their family mourned the loss of their daughter.

In a statement to FOX 13 Memphis, her mother said, “The Mitchell family would like to thank everyone for their condolences regarding the untimely death of Lola ‘Gangsta Boo’ Mitchell.

The family is asking for your continued prayers and privacy as we process the loss of our loved one.

” She further commemorated her daughter, referring to her as the “Queen” of their hometown.

She added, “My daughter Lola was my only baby girl. I was so proud when she would rap as a little girl.

She became the Queen of Memphis. My baby is loved by people everywhere, and it all started at home with us… God brought her home to be with her daddy Cedric and her brother Derron.”

Innovative rapper

Gangsta Boo was widely regarded in the music industry as an innovative rapper who set new standards for women in rap music.

Her career began at the age of 14 when she recorded “Cheefa Da Reefa” with Three 6 Mafia.

Eventually, she was invited to join the group, becoming its first female rapper.

Even after leaving Three 6 Mafia in the early 2000s, Gangsta Boo’s presence in the Memphis rap scene continued to be felt.

She released hits like “Where Dem Dollars At” and “Gangsta Walk.” She collaborated with artists such as Gucci Mane, Killer Mike, Lil Jon, T.I., and most recently, Latto on a track released last month.

In her final recorded interview, Gangsta Boo reflected on her influence, stating, “I would honestly say that I have to admit, respectfully and humbly, that I am the blueprint.

I hear my cadence in a lot of male and female rappers… It’s time to claim what’s mine.”

After the announcement of Mitchell’s death, DJ Paul, a founding member of Three 6 Mafia, posted a picture of her on Instagram without a caption.

Celebrities and fans flooded the comments section, sharing their thoughts and offering condolences. Lil Jon wrote, “Man we were just together 3 weeks ago.

Rest well, Queen,” while Krazie Bone expressed, “Cannot believe this bro.

Tough one,” and media personality Diamond P wrote, “Hurt is definitely an understatement right now…

I’m going to miss our conversations and texts… prayers to Boo and her entire family.”

Rapper Ludacris also left a comment with prayer hands and a white dove emoji.
