Auditors from Dubai this week arrived at the Carrefour Two Rivers branch in Kenya to conduct a comprehensive review of the company’s operations and employees.

The audit, which began on Monday, aims to assess the academic, competency, and integrity levels of Carrefour Kenya’s employees and managers.

According to sources, many managers have tendered their resignation letters at Carrefour Two Rivers, The Hub, and Village Market due to the ongoing audit.

The audit has created a sense of uncertainty among employees and management, and it remains unclear what the outcome of the audit will be.

In addition, Radar Security Limited, the scandalous company in charge of guarding Carrefour Kenya outlets have been given two weeks to vacate all branches due to cost-cutting measures.

Majid Al Futtaim Management plans to employ their own security at a cheaper cost because sales are reportedly dwindling at Carrefour.

A letter was also written to Carrefour Two Rivers Head of Department Immanuel Toris regarding his alleged incompetence.

The officials from Majid Al Futtaim’s main office in Dubai expressed concerns about Toris’s qualifications, given that he holds a four-four certificate and is leading junior staff with higher qualifications.

The ongoing audit follows numerous scandals surrounding Carrefour Kenya, including allegations of mistreatment of employees and other management issues.

In recent months, there has been public outrage over the company’s treatment of its employees, with some staff members speaking out about intimidation, frustration, and insults from their supervisors.

The mistreatment of employees has been a major concern and we hope that the ongoing audit will lead to positive changes in the company’s operations and management practices.

The review of the academic, competency, and integrity levels of Carrefour Kenya’s employees and managers will also provide insight into the qualifications and skills of those leading the company.

As the audit continues, many are waiting anxiously to see what the future holds for Carrefour Kenya and its employees.

The public will be watching closely to see if the company takes steps to address the concerns raised by employees and the public and if the audit leads to positive changes in the company’s operations and management practices.
