The NTV family is mourning the death of NTV Uganda’s news anchor, Rose Nankabirwa, who took her last breath yesterday at Aga Khan Hospital, Nairobi.
Rose has been battling with cancer for a while now and had to stop working due to her condition. She was hospitalized at Mulago Cancer Institute for months and later flown to Aga Khan Hospital where she has been on life support.
Yesterday, her family decided to pull her off the life support system because she was not getting any better.
Colleagues and friends are now busy fundraising to help the family in settling her hospital bill.
Uganda’s President, Yoweri Museveni, has also joined in the fundraising process and below is a clip that was run by NTV announcing Rose’s death;
