Treat Williams’ Death was as a result of a Motorcycle Accident.
New information regarding Treat Williams’ final moments has been revealed.
Following the Everwood actor’s tragic motorcycle accident, Matt Rapphahn, a Vermont resident and owner of an auto repair shop who witnessed the incident, shared some details.
According to Rapphahn, Treat, aged 71, was “conscious and verbal” just before being hurried to the hospital after the collision.
Rapphahn stated, “I ran over to [Treat], and then I ran back to the shop and called 911.”
He explained that Treat was hit by a Honda, causing him to be thrown off his motorcycle.
Rapphahn noted that the driver of the car got out to “console” Treat and recognized him, exclaiming, “Oh, my God, it’s Treat.”
Although Treat was wearing a helmet, it was challenging to identify him.
Despite experiencing a significant amount of pain, Treat was still able to communicate when paramedics arrived.
Rapphahn mentioned, “But they had to get him onto the backboard to get him onto the stretcher, and then onto the ambulance.”
Following his airlift to Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York, as confirmed by authorities on June 12, Treat Williams was declared deceased.
Shortly after his unfortunate demise, Williams, renowned for his portrayal of Dr. Andrew “Andy” Brown on Everwood, was commemorated with a heartfelt tribute from his loved ones.
“As you can imagine, we are shocked and greatly bereaved at this time,” his family shared in a June 12 statement obtained by NBC News “Treat was full of love for his family, for his life and for his craft, and was truly at the top of his game in all of it. It is all so shocking right now, but please know that Treat was dearly and deeply loved and respected by his family and everyone who knew him.”
Expressing their profound sorrow, his family conveyed that they are “beyond devastated.”
They extended a message to Treat’s fans, acknowledging their support and expressing gratitude.
The family requested that his fans continue to hold Treat in their hearts and prayers during this challenging time.
