This Is Why Incompetent UoN Vice Chancellor Prof. Peter Mbithi Should Not Be Given Another Term
The once shining school has been reduced to a mere college with huge debts, failing teaching standards, failing infrastructure and above all, lack of humanity. A thing that mist accompany.
In the near past, a UoN Student’s letter to Education CS George Magoha stressed the point that Professor Mbithi would rather hire out lecture halls for events rather than let them be used for lectures.
‘Professor, the university does not value knowledge these days; it is easy today to get a venue for entertainment purposes than to get one for a public lecture or debate. Lecturers do not teach and yet we students are forced to do exams that we are hardly prepared for.’ the open letter to CS Magoha stated.
A UoN Student has sent us the below information after reading the piece.
This new information sadly stresses that point.
Please hide my identity.
I just read your story about the incompetent UoN VC Peter Mbithi and I can confirm that indeed the guy has really messed that institution.
I am an evening student at UoN and we have been attending our classes at AmBank house.
Imagine a whole university hiring small rooms in AmBank, a building located just across University Way, yet there are hundreds of rooms lying idle at the main campus education building and others occupied by the Chinese at the Uon Towers.
Right now am in third year, but I have never received any results since first year yet I have cleared all the fees.
Someone must be sleeping on their job.
Please continue with your good work of exposing such incompetent individuals.
