Madonna, the Queen of Pop, had a close brush with death after being found unresponsive in her New York City home on Saturday.

Her longtime manager, Guy Oseary, shared on Instagram Wednesday that his client had “developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several day stay in the ICU.”
He added that she is “still under medical care” but “her health is improving” and “a full recovery is expected.”
Madonna’s oldest daughter, Lourdes Leon, 25, was by her side throughout the ordeal, as well as some of her other children.
