Hello Nyakundi, something on Technical University
Please don’t reveal my I identity.
I am a student at the Technical University Of Kenya, I joined the institution in January 2013 to pursue a degree in Geospatial engineering course which was to take at least 5 years.
Last year we ought to have graduated, a lecturer who was to teach us some 2 make up units never showed up to help us clear our course, however, the school deferred nearly all of us a class of 56 students.
Consequently putting all of these students at the helm of school administration. Early this year we raised a complain and we were taught readiness for exams.
When we finally had prepared to sit for these makeup papers, Our names were not on the list after posing a retrogressive fee policy that no one was allowed to sit for the exam without a zero balance. But we cleared our school fees early last year and we were supposed to graduate last year, but our names never appeared in the list of people who cleared fees, just because of their fault in the system.
We went to the executive dean, nobody understood us, so today they have decided to again defer us for another 2 years for having not complied with the fee policy n yet most of us clear school fees and have the receipt.
Kindly help us expose the rot at the Technical University of Kenya. Quite a number of students have been left hopeless for nearly 7 years In campus because if the negligence of a lecturer or Executive Dean.
