Ollie Robinson Injury Update: England Pacer Ready for Fourth Ashes Test
Ollie Robinson is one of the key players in England’s bowling attack in the ongoing Ashes series against Australia.

taking 14 wickets in three Tests at an average of 23.57.
However, Robinson suffered a setback in the third Test at Headingley,

How did Robinson get injured?
Robinson’s injury was likely caused by a combination of factors, including his heavy workload in the previous Test at Lord’s,
where he bowled 50.4 overs across two innings, and the short gap between the matches.
Robinson said that he felt a sudden sharp pain in his lower back while landing on his front foot during his sixth over on the first day of the third Test.
He said that he had experienced back spasms before, but they usually built up gradually and he could feel them coming on.
This time, however, it was different and he had to leave the field for treatment.
He had some acupuncture and medication, which helped him recover enough to bat and field later in the match, but he did not risk bowling again.
How has Robinson recovered?
Robinson said that he caught his injury earlier than he had done in the past and that it went away just as quickly as it came.
He said that he was 100% fit for the fourth Test and ready to play if selected.
Robinson also said that he had an injection in his lower back before the start of the county season to prevent any recurrence of his previous back issues.
He said that he had been managing his back well throughout the season and that this was just a one-off incident.
Robinson also credited England’s medical staff for helping him recover and keeping him in good shape.

Stuart Broad and Chris Woakes are expected to keep their spots after their match-winning performances at Headingley,
while Mark Wood is also likely to play after taking seven wickets and scoring 40 runs off 24 balls in Leeds.
England will have to make a tough decision on who to leave out if they want to accommodate Robinson in their bowling attack.
However, given his form and consistency in the series so far,
Robinson has a strong case to be included in the XI.
