On December 13, 2023, Whilby’s disruptive actions continued at a Teaneck Board of Education meeting, where he reportedly made insulting comments towards Jewish attendees, expressed support for terrorism, and called for the annihilation of Israel. This occurred against a backdrop of heightened tensions related to Israel’s punitive measures and terrorist activities by Hamas. Whilby’s disruptive behavior led to police intervention.
In a separate incident on October 24, 2023, Whilby interrupted an Englewood city council meeting, specifically targeting pro-Israel Jewish participants, and angrily telling a woman to “Go back to Germany, Europe, Belgium, wherever the f**k you’re from.”
These controversial remarks by Whilby have sparked criticism and concern. One rabbi has referred to him as making derogatory statements such as “calling the Jews descendants of Satan, Christ-killers, etc.” Additionally, Whilby fabricated allegations of Jewish involvement in the transatlantic slave trade to oppose Holocaust education in public schools.
