The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has directed the arrest and prosecution of the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of National Water Harvesting and Storage Authority (NWHSA) Engineer Sammy Mburu due to misappropriation of funds while at the Lake Victoria South Water Services Board (LVSWSB) 24th September,2019.
Eng. Sammy Mburu has been on run and out of office since to evade the hands of DCI and signing the Authority documents at a hidden place where 2staff delivers them to him.
The Chairman Board of Directors has not taken any action despite being aware of the notice for the arrest of Eng. Mburu.
The Authority left at no one’s hand but a wanted man siphoning more as the DCI looks for him.
Eng. Mburu is still in office and carrying out his duties very well as the Chairman Mr. Nkandienye watches things falling out of hand instead of appointing a new Acting CEO.

Engineer Sammy Mburu was once an employee of Lake Victoria Water Services Agency.
His appointment was full of drama and allegations of corruption, Mburu performed performing dismally at the interview.
Mburu is a relative of the Water PS Joseph Irungu, he got this job through nepotism.
