Sometimes Last month we run A SERIES OF EXPOSE on the rot at Trans Nzoia County government. We exposed the first lady Lydia Khaemba who the husband, Governor Patrick Khaemba is using to loot the county dry.

Of course the first lady is a criminal in her own right, she has looted the Women Sacco, she always threatened to ‘silence’ bloggers in the county for exposing her corrupt ways.
The Sacco was supposed to offer loans to Registered groups. The initiative was meant to empower registered Women groups by giving them loans.
But instead of giving loans to Registered groups, money is channeled to individual accounts.
On 5 March 2019, The Sacco money, 300K was transferred to Account number 1123827966 KCB Eldoret Branch, account belongs to the County Secretary Pius Munialo. Munialo is among the people involved in looting Sacco.
On 18/2/2017, Ksh1.4 million was stolen by the governor’s second wife Lydia Khaemba. She used this money to buy a Mercedes Benz.
So far the Sacco can’t account for Ksh22 million shillings.
The first lady hasn’t answered the questions raised by bloggers in the county. The corruption continues as Governor Khaemba deep pockets, money stlen from the county coffers has been used to pocket EACC.
Below are some questions for her from the whistleblowers. She was asked this in October 2019. The whistleblowers want answers
- Why Lydia Khaemba was given a cheque of 1.4M (Palm trees) to buy Mercedes Benz?
- Why non-members of the TRANS NZOIA WOMEN SACCO were allowed to withdraw money from The Sacco’s Equity account number 01120694492500 on 4/11/16?
- Why Ksh80,000 from the Sacco was spent on office bash? 30/12/16
- On 14/10/16, 24/12/16 September, October , November and December 2.6M was used to pay office rent, kwani Huku Kitale ni Nairobi? We know that the Sacco office is in Carol’s premises (Lydia Khaemba’s advisor) who has always misled her.
- Why give loans to non-existent groups., Isn’t this a looting strategy?

Residents from Trans Nzoia County are condemning the EACC for working closely with the current looters at Governor Patrick Khaemba’s government.
Recently after First lady Lydia Khaemba was exposed and reported to the EACC, the whistleblowers were notified that they will be alerted when to go and testify their allegations, with high hopes thinking that at least justice would be done to the poor Trans Nzoian’s, report reaching them is that the government went and settled the matter and so nothing will be handled anymore.
Trans Nzoia is the hotbed of corruption and you don’t need rocket science to prove that, for instance if you have recently visited Kitale town’s CBD it’s roads are pathetic with potholes everywhere. The controversial Referral hospital that is yet to be completed on its 8th year refurbishment, the hyped Bus terminus that would be the best in east and central Africa is another testimony that the Governor is dining with the EACC, he ate Ksh30m that was to renovate the county stadium.
