Harry Maguire Stripped of Man Utd Captaincy By Erik Ten Hag.
In a stunning revelation, HARRY MAGUIRE has confirmed that he has lost the captaincy at Manchester United.
This development has left his future at Old Trafford uncertain, and he expresses profound disappointment, especially after recently disclosing Erik ten Hag’s harsh decision.
Maguire, the England defender, spent some of his summer training with the renowned Premier League center-back Ricardo Carvalho, and he shared their remarkable interaction through a post on social media.
In his official statement, Maguire said that he had a conversation with the manager today, during which he was informed of the decision to change the captaincy.
Although personally feeling extremely disappointed, he pledges to continue giving his best every time he wears the Manchester United shirt.
Moreover, he takes the opportunity to express gratitude to the loyal Manchester United fans for their unwavering support throughout his time as the captain.
For the past three and a half years, leading Manchester United as captain has been an immense privilege and one of the proudest moments of my career.
It’s an incredible honor in club football, and I’ve devoted myself entirely to supporting United’s success both on and off the field.
I am sincerely thankful to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for entrusting me with this responsibility, and I extend my best wishes to whoever takes on the captaincy now, with my complete support.
After discussions with the manager today he has informed me he is changing captain. He outlined his reasons to me and whilst I’m personally extremely disappointed, I will continue to give my all every time I wear the shirt.

Last season, my playing time at United was limited, featuring in only eight games, as I slipped down the pecking order under Ten Hag’s management.
During that time, Bruno Fernandes took over the captaincy for the latter half of the campaign.
As for the upcoming season, it appears likely that Fernandes may take on the full-time captaincy role.
Regarding my future at United, there is uncertainty.
Although West Ham has emerged as a potential destination, they seem interested in a loan deal, while United is open to a permanent sale for a substantial fee of £50 million.
Despite the speculations surrounding my departure, I’ve had the privilege of representing United for 175 games, scoring seven goals during my time here since joining from Leicester for £80 million.
Last season, I faced stiff competition for a spot on the team, with players like Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez, Victor Lindelof, and even left-back Luke Shaw being preferred in the defense.
With United’s openness to potentially sign another center-back, my playing opportunities this season might become scarce.
As Ten Hag mentioned in May, it’s not a situation any player would be happy with, finding themselves on the bench.
For now, I remain committed to my role at United and will continue to give my all whenever called upon.
However, my future at the club is subject to further developments, and I am prepared for whatever lies ahead in my football journey.
