A Safaricom Plc client has made the most shocking allegations against the firm yet.
A client going by the Twitter name @Josp44 claims Safaricom forcefully subscribed him their expensive and unnecessary airtime loan product Okoa Jahazi.
He has attached evidence, by confronting the Telco, where one of its customer care people agreed that the issue might have emanated from their side.
It is imperative to note that Safaricom has been firing staff that engage in fraud. Is this a new way, a new fraud that is emerging in the company?
In 2020, the giant Telco sacked 16 staff members over fraud.

As you know every okoa jahazi has a charge fee. Mine was Kshs. 2/-. Assuming this happened to 1million people in Kenya Safaricom would have made 2 Million in a second. Kshs. 2/- might seem little, but cumulatively by contribution of 1 M people, its good money.
The lady says the late response is due to a fault on safaricom’s side that led to their twitter handle loose data in that they couldn’t see my tweets/DMs (coincidence sio) but how true is this? Safaricom is a different company from twitter, right? How do the two correlate?
Currently, they have issues with home fibre. Not Limited. Are you thinking of what I’m thinking?

I can’t find further help. Then I ask myself was I to wait for 2 days so that I can use my phone after safaricom has failed to respond? Who is at fault I communicated but you guys didn’t? All your solutions are to safeguard your company but not the interest of the customer.
You mean you don’t have a reverse solution to that. A customer service attendant who lies. She is rushing to end the call without an answer to my problem. Is she working solo today?
