To use Family Pairing, you need to have your own TikTok account and your child’s phone.

Use these steps to activate Family Pairing:

Open the TikTok app on your phone and tap Me in the bottom-right corner.
Tap the three-dot icon in the top-right corner to open the Settings and Privacy menu.
Tap Family Pairing and then tap Parent.
You will see a QR code on your screen. Keep it open.
Open the TikTok app on your child’s phone and tap Me in the bottom-right corner.
Tap the three-dot icon in the top-right corner to open the Settings and Privacy menu.
Tap Family Pairing and then tap Teen.
Scan the QR code from your phone with your child’s phone.
Tap Link Accounts on your child’s phone and confirm your choice.
