IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Insiders Reveal How Patrick Njoroge Was Complicit In Outgoing Government’s Malpractices
With each passing day, more unhappy employees at CBK keep speaking out.
In our previous follow-up article, we highlighted issues to do with rampant oppression, irregular recruitment and promotion of staff.
A source disclosed that the monetary organization does not properly advertise positions and interviews for applicants are never conducted.
“Connections” and favoritism are the order of the day.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: CBK Workers Unhappy With Governor Njoroge’s Leadership
It is alleged that three police officers who were part of the team that humiliated Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua by stripping him naked during last year’s controversial arrest have been attached to CBK, despite failing to meet the required qualifications.
PC Kimondo, PC Kasyoki and PC Kwamboka went for the interview as constables but were retained as Police Inspectors.
It is rumoured that Kimondo Kasyoki and Kwamboka all dropped their pants for the promotion that was bestowed upon them by their boss, “Mr Kiplang’at”.
At the time, Mr Kiplang’at was the security boss.
“Good Evening Nyakundi.
I tell you, the governor CBK runs the instruction like a personal company.
Imagine someone acting for over five years as a director and one morning you are brought a new boss, and you are told to help them learn the job.
Surely what do you call that?
In 2019, police officers went through an interview and those who made it were employed.
Interestingly, three policewomen namely PC Kimondo, PC Kasyoki and PC Kwamboka, also went for the interview as constables.
Mr Kiplang’at took them for a promotion course and when they came back they were employed as police inspectors.
Rumor has it that these women had a relationship with the then security boss, Mr Kiplang’at.
CBK is a rotten institution.
When you question, he tells you to go to court,” the source writes.
DP Gachagua has in the past lamented how the “fabricated” court case imposed on him saw him dragged in front of his wife and workers.
He maintained that his arrest was politically fueled by his refusal to toe the line.
“Even after sending 200 police to arrest me in Nyeri and drag me in front of wife and workers took me to Nairobi, lock me for 4 days, one and a half years later, not a shred of evidence that is why the case has not taken off,” he said during deputy president debate at CUEA on July 19, 2022.
