The glorious University of Nairobi (UoN) had a protest today. Did you know that?
Nope? me too.
I just saw a hashtag trending on Twitter and that’s when I knew there was a protest.
Am not alone, student at the institution too don’t feel the new Slayqueen Anne Mvurya led University of Nairobi Students Association (UNSA) management.
The UNSA made up of fake ideologies driven by such things as lame as ‘lets have a female’ university leader or worse still ‘let’s change the name to signify a new beginning’. Upuus.
Instead of protesting about an urgent issue that is currently causing sleepless nights to some University Students such as delayed and missing marks, lack of proper infrastructure and insecurity at the hostels, the Ann Muvrya led Slayqueen association UNSA chose to protest about small issues for PR.
Of course death is not a small issue, but some people say that the comrade that was killed by Wa Iria’s speeding ambulance on University Way did not use a nearby footbridge.

A spreading culture of nonsense
Sometime this month, students of Kenyatta University also protested among other things, being forced to use a footbridge. Poor souls.
At UoN, seems like SONU and Babu Owino’s leadership style is dearly missed. However, it also had it nonsense and shortcomings.
It is Babu who even introduced the culture of flower-girls in the SONU leadership.
Cnyakundi.com is not calling for violence during protests but protests about issues is welcome.
Right now University Students should be leading Kenyans in protests to remove UhuRuto who have fucked up the economy and ensures that there are no jobs even for those who went to university to get a degree so that they can be employable.
Even the Govt, the biggest employer, froze hiring of new staff, and youths still think they can get jobs? From where?
Let protests be about issues.
