The controversial forcefully-exiled Lawyer Miguna Miguna who is now exiled in Canada has urged Kenyans to get the copies of Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report and burn them as soon as they get, in order to show their disdain and resistance to the ‘dynasty politics’ .
Miguna who has been an opponent of the current regime after having been forcefully abducted, sedated and exiled in a strange land of Dubai.
He later found his way to Canada, a place he had stayed in for long, after fleeing the first Kenyan persecution in the hands of second president Daniel Arap Moi.
Against Despots
In the past few months, the lawyer who run for the Governor of Nairobi County in 2017 General Elections has tweeted controversial statements against the families of prominent Kenyans. Though his message has always been that UHURU MUST GO, he deviated from that and tweeted family matters that he says are secrets in the Kenyan political elites.
In the first series, Miguna tweeted that some of the children of opposition Leader Raila Odinga aren’t his.
He further tweeted that President Uhuru Kenyatta was sired by a Personal Assistant to the first president.
In what proved to be an explosive expose’, Miguna claimed that Raila Odinga’s sister had a son with Deputy President William Ruto.
The article was read for many days on end.
BBI
The BBI was founded out of the handshake (a call to calm) between Opposition leader Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta in March 2018. Many kenyans were caught unawares about the about-turn of the opposition leader who abruptly decided to work with the government.
Because, a few months before, the President had send his murderous police force into Raila’s strongholds, killed, maimed and disappeared supporters.
It was a welcome relief to Peace without justice activists; but to other such like Miguna, this was a way of postponing the problems that the country faces.
He as DP Ruto, another opposer of the BBI brigade, say the country needs more than sharing of positions.
It was reported that even DP Ruto didn’t know about the ‘impending handshake’.
Since the handshake, the ruling Jubilee party has suffered divisions reminiscent of KANU in the late 60s and into 70s.
As things stand, there’s a DP Ruto faction and a Kenyatta – Odinga faction. A kind of Jubilee Party A and Jubilee party B.
This scene is reminiscent of the early 70s whereby Mzee Kenyatta was facing health complications and Moi was busy attending Harambees all over the county.
Ruto has been bus in church harambees.
As for BBI, let’s see what will happen, but it would’ve been better if the country implemented the 2010 constitution fully and then see what needs to be corrected instead of rushing to this BBI thing.
How many of you will burn the BBI report as soon as you receive it?
If they print one million copies of the #BBIReport, BURN ALL THE COPIES.
If they release it on soft copy, PRINT AND BURN.
Let us have a CARNIVORE of REVOLUTIONARY FIRE.#BurnBBIReport!
Show despots, con-men and their surrogates that Kenya belongs to all of us. #RejectBBI pic.twitter.com/i3gMRkiQbh
