Police officers who have taken a loan from their Sacco, the Kenya Police Sacco are an angry lot due to mistreatment.
The officers who work under a lot of stress and oppression say the Sacco staff are very unfriendly towards them.
‘They show little courtesy and it is very sad to see a servcie provider behave this way’, a police officer who wrote to Cnyakundi.com said.
In an Audio that was sent to us, a lady working at the Sacco is heard hurling abuses at a police officer that had gone to clear his loan.
‘Mimi ni mama yako?’ the lady said after the officer in friendliness referred to her as mum.
She goes on to hurl unprintable insults at the other officer telling him that she is neither her wife nor a sufferer like him that ‘spent months at Kiganjo kwa Matope carrying 25kg gun’. At some point, it is hilarious why the female officer at the Sacco took the matter too far.

Lady at police sacco: ambia bibi mwenye mulikula nayeye hiyo loan, umuite mama, si mimi.
Male police officer: Na sasa, tunakosania shida yangu ama ninshida yako?
Lady at police sacco: Si wewe ndio uko na shida, umeniona mimi niko na shida…si wewe ndio unakatwa kwa payslip, badala ya kuongea vizuri unaniaambia mama. Tulikuwa na wewe training moja GSU, tukichokora kwa matope? Wewe ni mjinga sana.

Complaints about mistreatment at the Sacco have gone unheard.
The Kenya Police Sacco members, who are mainly Police officers, are planning to storm the Police Sacco Headquarters at Ngara over the same and demand the lady staff resignation or the whole management be removed. This came up after there was always a 30 per cent secondment of professional police officers to the Sacco which is never happening and the management and police bosses just push their own family or relations to the reserved positions.
Members are demanding for staff audit of the whole Sacco.
