In the Book, The Big Conservation Lie, Mordecai Ogada and John Mbaria raised pertinent issues concerning wildlife conservations in Kenya.
Ogada and Mbaria expose conservations as the appendages of the Western imperialists’ control of mineral and other natural resources disguised as wildlife conservation.
The Kenyan Govt, except, Kibaki has always ignored the plight of those who live near these white posturing and lies.
It is therefore not surprising that the immigration department and other state agencies such as the government the labour ministry doesn’t care about the treatment of workers in those ranches.
A source spoke to us about Ol Jogi Ranch. Remember that according to Kenyan immigration laws, a foreigner is allowed to work in Kenya only when the skill they bring in is unique. If unique, they are given two years to train a Kenyan to take up from them, then they are supposed to go back to their country.

‘There is an issue I want to raise Ol Jogi Ranch (Nanyuki) current CEO Mike Fisher. He is a South African. He is always on a firing spree. He has fired so many people since December without basis. He fires groundsmen (manual workers) on the basis of not being able to speak English. He is not providing any expatriate services that cannot be provided by any other Kenyan,” the source wrote.
Labour court
It is commendable that the sacked workers have sought justice through the court of law.
“The previous employer is always dealing with court cases because of his unprofessionalism in firing employees, our source revealed.
The source continued,” This has to stop, he is also racist, and regarding Kenyans a lazy and not being able to work. He should go back to his country”.
The problem of allowing foreigners to flour our immigration laws is that sooner or later, they’ll shit on our labour laws.
Mr Fisher is said to have flooded Ol Jogi ranch with his unqualified relatives from South Africa.
“They are very unprofessional but they get to earn salaries at expatriates rates. How did he acquire his work permit, how he getting work permits for them?” our source workers.
There are people who work in the immigration ministry, whose salaries don’t match their kingly lifestyles.
We shall get you. We shall expose you.
As for the ranches, one day, the people will ask loudly for you to pay for your atrocious activities.
