One month ago, this blog highlighted the sad story of a young graphic designer who cried for justice after Nairobi Governor Anne Kananu contracted him for a digital gig and later refused to pay for the project.
The quick job involved designing a logo for a media outlet named “RECORD TV” and he submitted the work on Wednesday, 5 May 2022.

Writing to us this week, the victim further disclosed that following the publication of the article, the outgoing governor has gone completely out of reach.
“Good morning Cyprian.
I hope this finds you well.
This is to keep you in the know about Ann Kananu’s situation
Since you highlighted my story she has been out of reach, frustrating all my efforts to get through to her.
Kumbe a whole Governor can take advantage of the youths in this county and country.
All am demanding from her is rightfully mine, payment for services offered to her.
She only has a few days left in office and I am beginning to get worried,” says the source.
The last time the City Hall queen responded to messages, she asked him to wait for a call from someone in her office who would advise further on the matter.
The call obviously never came.
