This blog has received a complaint from an aggrieved citizen who seeks answers from Corporate Insurance of Kenya as to why they are yet to pay off his accident claim more than a year after the terrible incident that saw his car written off.
Writing to us under the request of anonymity, the source also criticized the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) for their unhelpfulness in the matter.
He suspects that IRA operatives have gone to bed with Corporate Insurance officials.
“Hello, Cyprian,
Kindly help me out.
I had a comprehensive cover with Corporate Insurance of Kenya.
My car was written off in September last year and up to date, but they have not paid my claim.
They have even sold the salvage car.
I have gone to the insurance regulator but it seems they’re in bed with the insurance company,” writes the source.
Corporate Insurance Company Limited is an insurance company registered by the IRA as a Composite Insurance Company transacting both Life and General Insurance business.
It has its Registered Office and Head Office at International House, Mama Ngina Street, Nairobi, with branches in the City Centre, Mombasa and Kisumu.
