Gor Mahia’s midfield maestro Francis Kahata is reportedly leaving the club to join Algerian giants CS Constantine.
According to Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier, the club has been receiving various offers from different clubs across the country and abroad and Kahata looks set to choose the current Algerian champions.
Kahata is set to fly out to Algeria this week for contract negotiations before the deal is made official.
Kahata who some believe is Kenya’s current best footballer played a critical role in Gor Mahia’s back to back championships under former coach Dylan Kerr.
Gor Mahia now prepare for the new season that starts in December without some of their past key players but the chairman maintains they are ready for the new season.
