David Murathe’s resignation was the talking point in Kenyan politics this evening as everyone took the nearest available platform to air their opinion on the latest twist in Jubilee.
Murathe, who recently became a social media sweetheart after his remarks on DP Ruto, made his resignation official this evening as he vowed to stop Mr William’s 2022 bid — even if it means going to the supreme court.
Homa Bay women representative Gladys Wanga wasn’t left behind. The very vocal politician took to her twitter account to comment on the latest happenings.
Gladys said even though the messenger, Murathe, had stepped down, his message had been already brought home.
She added that the seed had now been sown and the games have began, perhaps, a hint on the highly anticipated 2022 elections that have been causing politicians sleepless nights.
Even as the messenger (Murathe) takes a bow, the message has been delivered, the seed is sown – the game begins in earnest!
