On Tuesday evening, angry Kenyans on social media turned on British newspaper Daily Express after they sent a tweet suggesting that Kenya was unsafe following the Riverside Drive Terror Attack.
The tweet led to a huge uproar as Kenyans expressed their great disgust in the newspaper’s reporting with some saying it was extremely insensitive to post such, considering the rescue operation was still ongoing.

Here are some of the reactions from Kenyans.
I wonder why such questions never come when a Western country is attacked. #ReversideAttack https://t.co/gPOvZqtLSQ

Do you guys ask these questions when similar incidents happen in Europe or the US???? You're fools for this. https://t.co/BaAbgw8Tgl

It's a beautiful country, and nobody is forcing you to visit Kenya.

@Daily_Express asking a useless question. It's safe to travel to Kenya. This unfortunate attack can't not be compared to what we have seen in your country but you never asked such useless question. Kenya is the best country to visit.

To Daily Express. It is very safe to visit Nairobi & even live here. Nairobi is a big city of close to 3 Million people it is one of cities in the world with large diplomatic community. Many who consider rest of Africa not safe operate out of Nbi. @magicalkenya is calling you

Did you ask this concerning the UK after Manchester and Westminster attacks?
— bantu_browsing (@bantubrowsing) January 15, 2019
No. It is not safe for intelligence challenged people like you. Whats wrong with some people!
— Denno (@dennis_mwe) January 15, 2019
What kind of question is that? Nairobi is a huge city and not a hotel. If you don't feel safe go to Wakanda, you will be much safer there! Nonsense!!!
